ADPN invites you to register on new database

The Auckland Disability Providers Network Inc is proud to facilitate the circulation of information that affects the Disability Sector in the Auckland Region. “Networking” is the name of the game and so many people tell us that they really value the information that comes to them on a regular basis and also, the opportunity for them to get the word about events and issues out to interested people.

To this end, we have recently acquired a new database which will be more efficient and will enable us to be more effective and responsive and generally provide a better service. However, many people are known to us by their email address only.

If you are NOT a FINANCIAL MEMBER of the ADPN, but would like to receive the information that is circulated on a regular basis, please complete the following information for us. (We have member information on file). Only those who send in their information will be included in future. It is OK for more than one person from an organisation to be on the database, but we must have the details requested in order to be entered on the list.

Confidentiality: Please be assured that any information given will not be used by anyone else and will not be passed to any other person or organisation.

Information required:

Name of Organisation
Person’s name
Title
Postal Address
Post code
Email
Phone/s
Website if any

Deadline: We need the information by the end of March. After that date, we will be using the new database and our existing lists will be deleted.

If you send an email, it will be done in no time and you won’t need to think about it again! – PLEASE PUT IN THE SUBJECT LINE: ADPN new database

ADPN looking to the future of Auckland Land Transport

In December 2009, the ADPN made a submission to the Auckland Regional Council on the draft Auckland Regional Land Transport Strategy. The submission was drawn up following consultation with representatives from the sector. As a result of this we have been invited to speak at a hearing in February 2010 at which we will reinforce the need for people with disabilities to be considered at all times when long term plans for transport around the region are being made. The full submission can be viewed: Submission to ARC AK Land Transport Strategy Feb 10 [164 kb pdf]
