Election Forum 31st October 2011

Show us your Disability Policy Election Meeting 31 Oct 2011An event organised by a consortium of disability provider organisations is to be held on Monday afternoon of October 31st 2011. It will be an opportunity to learn about the Disability Policies held by 6 of the political parties. It will also be a chance to become aquainted with the voting procedure and how to register as a voter if you are not already on the electoral role.

The Big Event – Health & Disability Expo 2012

Sponsorship Opportunities for The Big Event – March 2012Sponsorship Opportunities for The Big Event – March 2012The Big Event is to be held on 9th & 10th March 2012 at the ASB Showgrounds, Greenlane, Auckland.

There will be an opening breakfast on Friday morning and a closing ceremony on Saturday afternoon, with awards to be presented at both occasions.

It is to be a celebration of the skills and talents of people with disabilities and will also be a fantastic opportunity for the general public to gain information from service providers and equipment suppliers.

We are planning a fun, stimulating, creative, interactive event, which is totally inclusive. So come and be part of it!

The Expo is to be moved from December 2011 to 9th & 10th March 2012.
It is still going to be a bigger than ever event for the disability sector and there will be many exciting activities as well as information stands.

Please come to our AGM which is to be held on Tuesday afternoon, 23rd August 2011, following the ADVOCACY forum.

The ADPN is an organisation that needs the members to say what they want and ensure that it is moving in the direction that will benefit them. There are important decisions to be made, so we welcome your input.

The Forum commences at 1.15 pm and the AGM will follow at 4.00 pm
